THE GALLERY is a spacious and private house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms that has been

decorated in an unique style, where simple mid-century lines complement the original art on the walls.

The GALLERY cottage

The house has an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge that open onto an east-facing patio that enjoys stunning sunrise and evening views over Albert Falls Dam. There is comfortable patio furniture that includes a hanging chair for those lazy times of conversation or enjoying a book with a cup of coffee. The patio flows onto a large firepit where guests can sit around an outdoor fire while waiting for their meal to cook in the outside braai (BBQ). There is also a west-facing shaded patio off the kitchen with a large table and benches to enjoy an evening meal while catching the last rays of sunlight.

The kitchen and dining room are amply equipped with all the modern appliances needed for preparing food, eating, making  coffee, and for cleaning. The lounge has comfortable couches and chairs surrounding a fireplace supplied with abundant wood to ensure that you can cuddle cosily if it is a chilly Hilton night.

The spacious main bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a generous-sized spa bath and separate shower. The second bedroom also has an en suite bathroom with a shower, while the third bedroom will access either of the bathrooms off the other two bedrooms. All the beds are of a very high quality and are made up with pure crisp 100% cotton linen. Each bedroom is equipped with spare blankets and portable fans for your comfort.

The house nestles in landscaped garden, where there is abundant space for children and pets to play.

History of The Gallery

THE GALLERY was originally built by the previous owner in the early 2000’s and was her residence until we bought the property in 2018. We rented it out to a family until October 2021 when we decided to convert it into self-catering accommodation. The use of space and all the décor reflect the artistic creativity of Shelagh, who is a part-time artist.
